Its February and I need to check my yearly goals. I refolded/organized part of my stash. Yup--and I did two more fabric cubes last night. I made borders for a UFO--moved it one more step further. No color challenge block was made--but I did make 8 other blocks--4 to donate and a matching 4 for my sample quilt. Cut noodles and bricks from my scraps--now the box is truly--"scraps". I emptied a small plastic tote and my gadgets are stored in there.

your plaid 4 patch is looking good!
i've been working on cleaning aout and organizing too, and i've actually managed to get my unclaimed stash down to three double-sized drawers! I can hardly believe it myself!
all i need to do now is to go thru the stack of unclaimed fat quarters and get them cut into strips. That would use up the unclaimed left over bits and leave me with only strips and backings.
Oh my! will it ever happen???
The plaid four patch is really amazing. The design wall is a must for this one.
Good morning, early bird!! That looks like a great quilt for using up scraps. I spent a good part of yesterday afternoon cutting black strips for Orca Bay pieces. Next up is neutral strips. While at that I'll cut strips for Jamestown Landing as well. There will be plenty leftovers for the strip drawers, just like there were leftover strings from piecing the string-pieced red & blue squares.
Is SD slated for snow in the next 3-4 days? Sounds like we could be in for 6".
Every time I decide on what I am keeping in Vermont until May, someone brings me back to the Nickel Quilt books. Guess I really should make some of those. However, they will have to wait until South Dakota!
This is an attractive arrangement of blocks. Nice job!
Great scrap quilt.
