Rainbow Scrappy Saturday

Orange is the Rainbow Scrappy Challenge color for September.  I LOVE orange!  I finished four Monkey Wrench/9 Patch blocks--

All have orange in them somewhere.  Please see everyone's orange projects at SoScrappy

Do you read lots of blogs?  I use "Feedly" but its not as handy as I'd like.  I particularly have problems leaving comments on Wordpress blogs.  The reading surpasses commenting by 10 to 1.  Many times I go back several posts (or more) on a blog.  How do you read blogs?

I read blogs on Bloglovin, but I don't like the app, so I read them online instead. The app is good for reading but is NOT comment friendly and requires extra steps that I don't want to make. I read blogs on my iPad online with Bloglovin'

I love those Monkey Wrench blocks...what a happy design for a scrappy quilt. You have given me new inspiration. Sew Many Quilts Sew Little Time.

Your Monkey Wrench blocks are all very pretty.

Let's see...I have a blogroll that I refer to but those are not all of the blogs that I read. I might go to one blogger's site, read her post and then visit some links on HER blog roll. Then I'll visit around at link parties that I join.

Some blogs I'll visit once a week or so and read several of their posts in a row, comment on one of them.

I visit using a computer, don't use the readers, don't use my phone ( my son and I have a family plan and HE uses up all the data for the month so I just use my phone for calls and texts :)

Hope that helps your survey! :)

I started with Bloglines as my aggregator years ago, and was very happy with it. Then it sold to someone who turned into a ghastly mess, so I moved (reluctantly) to Google Reader, which I didn't like as well, but oh well. Then that folded, so I've gone to Feedly, which I like even less that Google Reader. So my blog reading has gotten more and more inconvenient over the last 10 years. I guess it's still better than a list of bookmarks, but even so...
I love your blocks, btw. I'm really looking forward to when you assemble them all!

Lots of fun oranges in those blocks.

I use Feedly too for blog tracking and reading. I haven't noticed any problems leaving comments on anyone's blogs.

I use Feedly to read blogs. I guess it works OK, but like all of them, has some aggravations. As for problems commenting, I find that commenting from the actual blog page doesn't always work either. I've learned to highlight and copy my comment. That way if it disappears somewhere in the process of posting I can just paste it back in. Some sites require an extra click. And of course, once you learn what to do on each site you can count on it to change. :) Keeps our minds young!

You've got a lovely set of blocks! In fact, I like them SEW much that I am considering them for the next step in my Tiny Nine project. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yup, little pops of orange in every block. Love the combination of 9 patches and monkey wrench.

Love The florals and patterns on the blocks, adds variety of scale. I use only an iPad and to avoid comment problems, I get your URL and open Chrome, where I enter it and all works fine. Seems to be fight between Google With Chrome and Apple. I don't know what Feedly is or blog reading, just use icons for my regular blogs.

I have some blogs in the menu on my own blog and just visit them directly from there. And I have other blogs in my Bloglovin feed. And I do much more reading than commenting. And I love getting comments on my own blog so oftern feel guilty for just lurking.

Cute blocks with those touches of orange.

Great blocks!
I follow blogs listed on the side of my blog. I have Bloglovin but find it's not user friendly so I don't use it much. I'm a sucker for link ups. I read a lot of blog posts. Sometimes I leave a comment, but most of the time I don't because I wouldn't have time to read more posts or sew.

When Google Reader went away I tried both Bloglovin and Feedly. Definitely like Feedly better. But I always click on "go to website" to comment or pin something. If you pin from Feedly, it links back to Feedly, not always with good results. I do enjoy your blog!
