January is light to medium blues--
A few extra spool blocks--there were pieces laying there begging to be used! The Ritzy Cracker blues were found in the "chunks" piles. Not a FQ but an odd shaped piece. None of these projects have enough blocks to make a quilt--eight Three Steps Forward, a small pile of spools, and 54 Ritzy Crackers. Please see what everyone has made with blues at SoScrappy.

Nice variety of blocks! I need to start making a series of blocks from my scraps.
Every time I see that Ritz Cracker block I tell myself I'm going to make some. Such a fun block.
I have one long diagonal seam to sew on a spools quilt, then put the already made borders on. What size are your spools? It takes four of mine to make a 6" finished block. What was I thinking?
Do you read Judy Laquidara's blog, Patchwork Times? Vince has Judy on a "practice for retirement" budget where basically she isn't supposed to buy anything but he's the one with the shopping habit. Hilarious! I'm thinking he'd better ease off or he might be retiring alone and on half the money he thought he'd have.
Lots of great blocks. Love the spools.
All your blue blocks are lovely!
Not enough blocks? That's the beauty of continuing your long-term projects with the help of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!! Best of luck to you.
You've got wonderful blocks here! The crackers are one of those great blocks that don't shine until you start putting them together with others, and then suddenly it's gorgeous!
Great blocks! Should should have lots of fun stitching up a rainbow this year!
Your blocks are lovely!
These are going to make great quilts! Liz in Houston
