Quilt Retreat

Last week I attended a quilt retreat in Nebraska.  I had so much fun!  Here are a few pictures--
Car was full
Our Sewing Room
The Hallway
Lorri2Rs and Dee
Beaded Lanterns
Retreat Purchases
The car was full.  50 quilters attended the retreat.  The room was perfect!  We used just part of the retreat center--we walked this hall to our meeting room.  On the right were meeting rooms, on the left numerous alcoves with comfy chairs, coffee tables, lamps, and huge windows overlooking a frozen lake.  Imagine  the right side of the hallway floor as a huge design wall.  MANY quilts were laid out to work on.  We did not have to pick them up each day, they remained there!  I attended the retreat with Lorri2Rs and Dee from Nebraska.  One of the projects I worked on was Beaded Lanterns, I worked on it until I ran out of background and 2.5" strips.  That's ok, I had more at home.  Two local quilt shops gave retreat goers a $10 coupon and a 20% off coupon.  I happily supported them!

Looks like an ideal location for a retreat.

The retreat center is so wonderful. I'm going at the end of April, haven't been for a while.

That's a great sewing room layout. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Isn't there still a bridge out on the Monastery road? Thought I read something about that. The Hadar bridge between Hadar and Hwy 81 finally opened. Such a relief for people who drive to work in Norfolk.

I'm going to our Quilt Club meeting tomorrow. Will see how it goes. Getting together with friends helps, no sense staying home & feeling bad all the time. Have to start getting used to our new unexpected path in life. Blood pressure and glucose numbers went crazy so have been working on getting them down. Sure hope there's something good for refreshments!!

Wow, 50 quilters all stitching and pressing and no tripped circuit breakers?! Looks like a great place to gather. And, hey, you did head south for the winter.

Do you realize there's a 12 word phrase you can communicate to your man... that will trigger deep feelings of love and instinctual attraction to you buried within his chest?

That's because deep inside these 12 words is a "secret signal" that fuels a man's impulse to love, treasure and look after you with his entire heart...

12 Words Who Fuel A Man's Love Instinct

This impulse is so built-in to a man's brain that it will drive him to work better than ever before to do his best at looking after your relationship.

As a matter of fact, fueling this all-powerful impulse is so essential to getting the best possible relationship with your man that the moment you send your man a "Secret Signal"...

...You'll immediately notice him expose his soul and heart to you in such a way he's never experienced before and he will identify you as the only woman in the universe who has ever truly tempted him.

Playing Catchup
