it was a RSC project, the HST in each block featured that month's color. I wanted a rectangular quilt so made picket fence borders at the top and bottom. I had some wide cream flannel and I dyed it--
The color is called Rose Brown, I called it "tired grape". The border is a dark purple in the same shade so it was a great choice. The quilt pattern is called Teeter Totter, I used a light lavender thread on top and a darker purple on the bottom.
I'm linking up with Elm Street Quilts. Tomorrow I will pick OMG for April.

That's a pattern I've been wanting to make. I know I have the pattern somewhere. Lord knows I have plenty of scraps. I think the pattern I'm thinking of starts off with 2.5 and 4.5 strips. At some point I cut a bunch of the 4.5s and have never used them for anything.
I like your "tired grape" backing. Tired Grape!!!! :) :) :)
The picket fences on the top and bottom were and excellent choice. The quilt is a beauty!
Looks wonderful. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
Well done! It looks fabulous
Wow, this turned out so great. Love all the touches, dyed matching colors, picket fences. Well done!
Do you use a pantograph or have computer guided? I noticed you used this or Baptist fan on a later quilt.
