Pink Lemonade Cut Out

Oh dear, my new fabric pile has not gone down much. And I THINK I have enough pieces cut for at least one quilt. A fairly large quilt too. But I have the pieces bagged and ready to go. I like to cut everything (or as much as possible) before I start sewing. Mindless chain piecing--yup, that's what I like. Stress reducing. What is your favorite method??

Love the fabrics and pattern for your new quilt! Don't the pastels make you feel all spring-y? Course it's just getting to be spring here in Maine, and the quilt I'm working on now with the 30s repros adds to the feeling.

I think that's the best way to cut out a quilt, all at once. It seems to me that once the fabrics are cut, the top goes together quickly. Chain piecing is such fun. You really don't have to think, and it goes so quickly! Love your fabrics, by the way!

I like to chain piece, too. I started cutting for more than one quilt at a time and started using the shoe box storage system. I emptied one box on the Pineapple Blossom and maybe 4 more boxes to empty :)
