Later on Monday

Today was Laura Beth's Dr. appt and she is much better, strict bedrest seems to be doing it. They are hoping she makes it to 39 weeks, (she is a little over 35 now) and if she doesn't hatch by then they will induce her. Looks like I will be here a while, so worked on making a sewing area. I set my sewing table up in front of the window in the basement, and then I realized there was no plug in close! Picked up an extension cord while I was out shopping. So have a small area in the basement with a table, featherweight, cutting board, and iron/ironing board.

Nick fixed it so I could unload pictures from my camera and FIND them again on their computer. I promised pictures of my little car packed to come stay, LOL, Ken kept saying it was full, do you think I should tell him I put more in there after he left and then I stopped at Walmart and bought groceries?? My car maybe not be pretty or fancy, but she is dependable and cheap!!

Oh, and Laura Beth said there is a baby shower on Saturday, so I will have to get that binding on the quilt and wrap it up! I have been sorting thru her baby clothes for her, can see a few things they need yet. Maybe I will get a little time to shop before Saturday.

Oh, I found this on Stephanie's Blog--how fitting for now!

You Are An ISFJ

The Nurturer

You have a strong need to belong, and you very loyal.

A good listener, you excel at helping others in practical ways.

In your spare time, you enjoy engaging your senses through art, cooking, and music.

You find it easy to be devoted to one person... a partner who you do special things for.

In love, you express your emotions through actions.

Taking care of someone is how you love them. And you do it well!

At work, you do well in a structured environment. You complete tasks well and on time.

You would make a good interior designer, chef, or child psychologist.

How you see yourself: Competent, dependable, and detail oriented

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Boring, dominant, and stuck in a rut

How much of that has to come back with you? lol

Hurray for finished basements! Glad you could carve out a place. Hope the lighting is good enough, too.

I told Mereth about the fun you had cutting awful fabrics for Chains of Lurve, how you cackled over the pink git-tars and the lime green dog bones. Maybe you can post a picture to show how you abuse your buddies.

Glad you found your tomatoes in the car and are surviving in Minnie-soda.

Glad to hear your daughter is doing OK - nice job setting up your temporary sewing room. The raw edge applique blocks looks great - I keep planning to do some and stitch it on the longarm.

Lots of good stuff in this post! You've got yourself a great set up there at your daughter's place. Looks like you are right at home. That's a beautiful Featherweight!
