RSC Saturday

A quick post, I've been sewing on assorted projects and I did make some green blocks--

I'm busy volunteering, its HOT so I'm going to stay inside and sew!  Please see everyone's posts at SoScrappy.   Lori1R in Nebraska

PS--just read the color this month is yellow so I'll have to get on the same page as everyone else--next week!

The Color of the Month is only a suggestion. It's all good, as long as you are sewing scraps!!

Your green blocks look terrific! Staying cool inside here also in the AC!

There is still plenty of time this month to get into yellows...

Hot is right! And HUMID!! It's the humidity that just wilts me, the heat alone isn't so bad. We're expecting the two youngest grandchildren later today to stay until sometime Tuesday so my sewing room is basically packed up until they go back home. Had to get everything off the bunk beds....that had become my storage area the past couple years.

Thought of you yesterday as we passed through the west edge of Parkston on the way to Mitchell for our grand niece's wedding. I knew you were volunteering so didn't even wave. :) Lovely wedding and that Methodist church has the prettiest stained glass windows.

It's nice to hear from you again, Lori. We just got hit with the heat so now it's been the sewing, machine that is hot. I hope you are having a good time volunteering. Hope you have a good summer with some stitching time in there as well.

The Mitchell area certainly has been hot and humid. But not a drop of rain. Yesterday was a perfect day to sew and then to play cards with my girlfriends, while my husband played/sweated in a golf tournament.

I love that top green block that looks like wrapped candy. So cute!

Playing Catchup

Its been busy!  Thanksgiving has come and gone, soon it will be Christmas.  We got our vaccinations a couple weeks ago--Covid, RSV, Influena...
