Design Wall and Monday Goals

The Diamond 4 Patches are all pieced and the setting diamonds cut.   My design wall is the bed---

Night picture--bad color again.  Here's a scan from the book--

I need to find fabric for the half diamonds.  They used a brown plaid--I would like a brown of some sort.   The blocks are fairly large--7" across and about 11" long.

Weekly Goals--

  1. Trim half the Arrowhead blocks
  2. Quilt on "Chains of Lurve"
  3. Plaid 4 Patch
  4. Scrappy Bargello

That's enough to keep me busy.  January is almost over and I need to review my 2012 guidelines.

How are you doing?

me too!! and if you can't find enough brown, try using some drab olive green for your setting diamonds.

Very nice quilt! Are the diamonds difficult to deal with the stretch factor? I am piecing a diamond quilt and I am at the row assembly part. I am afraid of the setting diamonds.....

Nice antique looking quilt, always like those.

How am I doing on 2012 guidelines? Quilting is going slowly but surely. Weight loss goal was a pound a week and I'm already two weeks behind!! Can we start the year over??

Very nice, love this pattern.

I agree with the others, it has a wonderful, warm, vintage look. Just the sort of comfort quilt to curl up in with a book and hot chocolate on a blustery day.

Just a lovely take on a heritage block setting. Apoison green would look fantastic with this

Ditto what Bonnie said. I can do the diamond quilt easy and just might someday. It's the header photo I can't figure out.
